Well, I pretty much jumped on the Ironman bangwagon and decided to do a custom ironman figure. My son hasn't used his Sigma 6 figures in quite some time so I figured he would notice if one was missing;).
A lot of info and inspiration came from "Jin's" work. He's tips and tutorials helped a lot.
A big thanks to Jin:D.
The base is an S6 Cobra Commander. I gutted the chest and added an LED with replaceable batteries and a create a removeable chest plate to aid the function. I sculpted the head with the S6 theme in mind and added a few designs to the body to give it some similarities. A red & gold paint job with a touch of pear ess. and WALA! A custom Ironman.

I'm not a big fan of the Sigma 6 stuff, or customs based on them, but that's some great work. And LEDs are almost always cool.

Well, it is a helmet, which by definition has to be bigger than one's head in order to be worn. ;)

Any exaggerated proportions are also in keeping with the cartoony style of the entire Sigma 6 line.

Definatly badass! I went with the TV animated look, you went with with the realistic movie look. Love the smooth sculpting on the head/chest/legs. That chest looks factory perfect!

I looked for the battle-damage CC for an Iron Man base so I could rip that spinny thing out and put in an LED too. Where'd you find yours? I only found the regular CC's at Toys R Us.

Now put it on ebay, and some moron will pay you lots amounts of cash (tell them Jin made it, just to get the big bucks).

Jin, that CC I managed to get of my son. He didn't care much for the spinning chest plate so I was able to find the black CC at a local T'RUS an basicaly traded it for the blue one. It made the LED process a lot easier.

Mikedanger, I'm sure there is a way to put LED on the hands (probably using fiberoptics), but unfortunately I'm not that crafty:(.
