I think you are not seeing things correctly. The amazing thing about such a big star like Shania is she can vanish for 4 years on hiatus but yet she can return and have the top cd in the world.
You seriously under estimate Shania's impact on her massive fan base worldwide.
Shania has been a brand name worldwide for more than 14 years. She has her place in history set in stone and she can re invent her sound now with her next album and even get a new generation of fans.
