I think he's gonna do it.He toyed with the field and he actually slowed him down the whole time.Even when he blew them away at the end he still slowed him down.I can't see anyone beating him and I'm pullin for him to win the Triple Crown too.:)

Thats what they said about the last 3 who won the first 2 races as well and it didn't work out for them. It would be cool if he did win it though.. even though I don't care at all about horse racing.

Yeah, kind of funny that it happened 3 times in 6 years and then NOTHING...

This horse is ridiculous. The jockey didn't use his whip the entire race.

I was watching the replay and when he pulled away at the end it was like "Wow!". He has some serious get up and go!

Unless BB got bumped hard and boxed in early this one wasn't in question. There was $ to be made though in the exotics because BB was such a huge favorite and I was able to throw ***ego out right away (the 2nd favorite) because his schedule was too crazy over the past few weeks. I actually hit the trifecta on a ticket today after buying 60 combos while keying BB to win.
For the Belmont I don't think BB wins and I'm betting against him pretty big because the odds are going to be crazy because everyone's going to be talking triple crown. Should be some good rested Derby horses in the field and Casino Driver looks like a keeper.

Yeah but those horses didn't dominate the way this one did. Like someone already said he didn't even use his whip and after the race he said he actually had to keep slowing the horse down.He geared him down to get from the inside to the outside and he still caught the leaders without any effort. Only way he doesn't do it is IF he gets caught in traffic or stumbles.

In fact he was pulling him back at the end and BB kept picking up speed.

This horse has the best pure speed and endurance to win the triple out of any I have seen, but you have to take into consideration that there's a much bigger rivalry between the jockeys than the actual horses.
Jockeys hate the idea of the streak of the TC drought coming to an end and they will tend to work as a unit to box the possible TC horse out of winning it moreso than trying to simply win with the horse they are on in the Belmont.
It won't be Big Brown vs the second best horse in the race as much as it'll be Kent Desormeaux vs the entire jockey field.
The good news for Deormeaux is there is no pace setting rival horse for Big Brown thus far. Sure Casino Drive is the biggest rival...but the advantage is the fact that Deormaux is the main jockey for Casino Drive. Yeah.
I personally hope he pulls it off. If he's not boxed in too early and can get a decent open lane after the second pole, and if the horse stays healthy...it's over. Deormaux knows Casino and is mastering the faster horse.

Yeah, thats true. I think War Emblem dominated pretty good if I remember correctly but you are right that this one seems to be doing it rather easily.

CowboysFan79,you nailed it.It was smart of Deormeaux to ride Casin Drive because he knows the horses tendences and abilities.Maybe it's just me but I've never seen a rider be more confident(and really mean it) in a horse. It just seems like the trainer and rider know how much more Big Brown really has.
