Hi,
Make sure to check out the NEWS (http://www.spawn.com/news/) section on SPAWN.COM (http://www.spawn.com/)tomorrow for all the latest happenings around the McFarlane Companies, including the Blue Necro Cop contest winner, an Alberta Museum Dragon Exhibit announcement and the ZODIAC feature will go live!
Today, I have a few photos of our ceramic sample of the Brute Chieftain (http://www.spawn.com/toys/product.aspx?product=3705)from the HALO 3 ‘LEGENDARY’ COLLECTION (http://www.spawn.com/toys/series.aspx?series=418)…

The ceramic sample is a hand-made sculpt produced by the factory from the tooling pattern created in our NJ office. It is a very difficult and painstaking process to reproduce this by hand. It is also the last step before we cut a steel mold based off this final ceramic. The ceramic sample is usually 5% to 10% bigger than the actual production piece. Once the ceramic sample as been inspected and approved, the factory will then cut the steel mold.
I’ve taken a comparison pic next to the Brute Chieftain from HALO 3 Series 1 (http://www.spawn.com/toys/product.aspx?product=3672) to give you an idea of the size. Remember, the final production piece will be about 5% to 10% smaller…

That’s all from me. Let’s check in with Ben “Electric Slide” Vance for his half of the update…
Hey, Everyone!
Tomorrow’s news section will feature a tweak to one of our 2008 NFL 3-Packs! I can’t spill the beans just yet, but here are some teaser images from the 3-Pack.
