I have received my production samples of the HALO Series 2 multiplayer figures (http://www.spawn.com/toys/series.aspx?series=417). Today I have a few in-packaging shots of the SPARTAN EOD (OLIVE) (http://www.spawn.com/toys/product.aspx?product=3692)…

HALO Series 2 will hit shelves in JULY!
That’s all from me. Let’s check in with Ben “Where does the time go” Vance for his half of the update…
Hey, Everyone!
What an exciting hockey game last night!! The Red Wings dominated from the midway point, but the Penguins scored in the clutch, including the winning goal in the third OT. The Penguins are down 3-2 in the final series, but their Stanley Cup chances are still very much alive!
It’s Shadow Tuesday!! Can you guess who this figure from a future NHL Series is?

That’s all for today!

Shouldn't Don get a dog?
He needs a dog in ice skates or something.
Gotta have the dog.

It might take me some time to get used to the new "classic" cardboard packaging but I really like the graphic designs. Great work!

Hey Joe, any reason why you guys decided to go with one weapon for Halo 3 S2 instead of two like in the promo pics?

You meant Todd, right? Will Todd ever make some Transformers? I doubt it, but I would like to see that. Or perhaps, will there be any Transformer-like Spawn figures? You could count the Inter-link series as that; Spawn's version of Devastator. :p

I call it Demotivator. When you're done putting it together you just want to stick it somewhere where it won't fall over and go take a nap

No, I sure didn't. I haven't really paid attention to Todd's Halo figures until I saw a picture of someone's collection that had a white armored Spartan among the set. It looked awesome.

Yes I ment Todd...
And his version of Devastator would be something so scary the devil himself would piss his one-size-fits-all-pajamas, then spontaniously combust at the sight of it  .lol..

Unless ofcourse your racing to the asile with about 20 other people going to the same place...you'd be lucky to only have a ruptured spleen.

Cool Pic Avatar!!! And I agree with you... They are very addictive with no health risks. However, they can do damage to your wallet like an illegal drug.

So many exclusives.... why lord, why.... I'm gonna just "try" to get all of Series 2. Not gonna gonna go bananas lookin' D&R and Transworld. Most likely the hardest outta Series 2. Hopefully someone posts a link to preorder them or buys some extras for us on the boards.

Joe, I had an idea.. you guys should look into producing those plastic bubbles for carded collectors, like Star Cases for Star Wars figs.. now with the new carded stuff coming out, you'd make a killing off all the MOC collectors.. maybe an online only 5-pack or something?
Anyway, my real question...
I got one of the ODST troopers from China, I got it from a friend that ordered a bunch of figs from someone on ebay that was selling figures that probably "fell off the truck" in the warehouse.. I'm sure you know all about it so I wont go into that part.. but anyway, on to my question, The ODST trooper by far is my fav Halo character. Why the change on the elbow articulation, and is the head on the ODST trooper the same at the ODST Spartan, or will it be a totally different sculpted helmet? I was just wondering cause it looks like it might be a tad bit small to fit on a spartan body, but I don't have the Cojones to pop the head off just yet to find out, I'd hate to ruin him cause he seems a bit fragile... and don't worry, I still plan on buying a couple when they hit the stores in the states ;)

Odds are its not the same..And Campaign figures are not ment to have removable pieces..I'd think twice before ripping that poor ODST's head off.

I plan on collecting all the steel spartans from gamestop. Don't want the entire collection. Can't wait for the steel EOD in series 3. Wonder what series 4 will be.

Hey, how's the articulation on that? As good as the Spartans (Except for the elbow, of course.)?

To be honest? After playing around with him all day and trying to put him in a decent pose, it could have been way better, it almost seems like a different company designed the articulation on the ODST, he can't bend his knees in a 90 degree angle, can't even be put in a sitting down position cause of his cod piece getting in the way. He can't hold his rifle with two hands up to his eye sight as if he was aiming down the scope, the best postition I could put him is is just standing there with his gun in his hands like the PR pics.. I'll still buy a couple to try to "fix" them, but these are far from GI Joes, like I was hoping they were :(
