We all know that Todd made the halo figs tinny and thats a bummer, and some of us know why he made it small. It would of been best if Todd wouldof let the original toy company made the halo figs, but everything in Todd's version always comes out great.
P.S.
does anybody know how series 35 of spawn looks like?

okay, I'll bite.
Why did he make them small? Do you know about the Legendary Collection?
And why would Joyride make them when Joyride folded up when the parent company started winding down a bunch of their companies?
and in regards to Series 35, nope... no pics yet. I am getting a bit impatient, those shadows are driving me nuts.

Personally, I think Mcfarlane was the right choice for the Halo 3 figures. Despite their size, they turned out great! I was a skeptic at first but have since changed my view.
The Legendary Line will be like the Spawn lines... BIG & highly detailed! Simply put... They'll be bad@$$!!!!!!!!

Yeah. Your right they do atleast look great. But one thing is, the new hellspartan kinda looks a bit cheesy. If Todd wanted to turn one of the halo guys into a hellspawn the least he can do is work on it a little more because we all know that Todd could do better. Speaking of hellspartan that would make a good idea for the next spawn figurine. And I'm not talking about the halo thing, I'm talking about the 300 looky thing.

Hey!!! that would make a good idea for the next spawn series. Sort of a Roman/Greek version of spawn. You know, the 300 version. with spawn as a king spartan soldier, and that hunchback guy as the violater and Mammon as that Persion king or something.

Hello - Medieval Spawn, series 20.
Also, now that I am thinking about - the Halo sizes totally make sense! Who has room for all the variations from all 3 series.... If you are a completionist, or an army builder, the smaller size makes it easier.

Arrrrgghh I hate it when people start to complain about the size, any larger and the posibility of vehicles wouldn't be there.
If marketed right, this line could turn into a kind of gijoe line for MS, Bungie and Todd.

I agree, I totally love the smaller size. The detail is still there, and you can display (and afford) a lot more. I don't even care for the legendary figures, I don't need statues, I need an in-scale Warthog!!!

In that they both have vehicles to go with the figures? I don't see Halo having the shelf life as the G.I. Joe line, but I could be wrong. It would be sweet to see Todd come up with some Halo bases though.

Do we really need another barely legible Halo thread?

it would depend on how much new life new installments bring in. Halo Wars could be a decent hit and spur more interest or it could fail and interest could wane.
I'll be interested to see what Halo is like 15 years, if it's even remembered as fondly as the stuff from my childhood and teenage years.

Well the halo brand doesn't seem to be coming to an end anytime soon, there's talk already of a fourth installment and we still have things like the eventuality of a movie.
yeah I could see halo figures with vehicles and bases, lots of characters and weapons. They need to make them available to the kids though, get them into all the mass retailers at $10 a fig. And really try to get a flow of product going, so you can find them at ease. I know some of the joyride ones we're starting to make it into the kids hands before they stopped. The offering of a series for a month or two and then bare shelves/pegs for several months has to stop though. To get kids and parents to buy them they really need to have a full time presence on the shelf. If MS had any gumption they would treat Halo like Star Wars and start marketing halo like lucas did the clone wars cartoon towards kids and adults.
How kick but would a halo cartoon done in the clone wars style be?

I think Jin did a rescue hero styled MC, it rocked and I think the line could definitely be sold to the kids.

whether it was animated Clone Wars style or like Advent Children, I'd be game either way.

I was somewhat thinking along those lines. If the game stops, then that's pretty much it for the toys. I didn't know about the possibility of a fourth game, but I do remember hearing something about a Halo movie. But if Halo branched out into animated/CGI shows or movies, or possibly a few comics, then I could see it lasting just as long. As you said, Mr. Sci-Fi, they would have to market it towards the kids more.
The scale of the Halo figures enables them to use weapons from The Corp!. You'll hear no complaints from me.

I think the Halo name brand will be around for a long time. Its already been 7 years since the release of the original Halo and look what its blossumed into.
I really hope McFarlane hangs onto this license and we see many future series to come... Halo fans are like Star Wars fans... They are out there and very loyal. Keep churning out new product to feed the masses and keep them hungry enough to keep wanting MORE!
I predict we'll be seeing a series 4 announcement before too long. Probably for a 2009 launch.... ;)

Game informer, or the xbox magazine had a little news blurb about the fourth game. They said MS would have an anouncement later this fall about a pre halo1 game, probably having to do with johnson qand the odst troopers.
