Wow, just wow. That figure totally lived up to my expectations. I must own it.

looks great, but 120 bucks seems a bit high for a sideshow 12incher....and seriously why the hell isn't Timber the exclusive

exclusives are freaking stupid...if you make them then just make them...don't bs around and act like you don't have molds and crap...it's stupid...either make stuff or don't and for 130 (with shipping) it should come with a 24 points of articulation timber as an accessory anyways...throw those exclusives in the trash!
it's nice looking though...and i am not a JOE fan at all...

Designed by Rob Leifeld.
Anyway, I'm no stranger to spending a lot of money on toys, but that does not look like it's worth $120. Put on an ordinary head and take away the sword, and this could pretty much be a plain action figure of a commando.

It does look nice, but still a bit expensive for my tastes.

Did Hasbro ream Sideshow on the licensing fees? And looking at the body they are using, I have to say that it's not much better than what Hasbro is using in their 12" line.

Tho I love GI Joe, Snake Eyes is one of my fave characters, I gotta agree with Mike K. I have a bunch of that gear too from different figs, heck I'd just need the head... or just the visor mask as it looks like the head is covered with material anyway. But this is coming from a customizer who makes stuff, heh. For someone who's never had a cool Snake Eyes, it's definatly the best one out there.
After debating it, I'm gonna wait and see if they do a movie version. I'd like a custom bodysuit, something to make him different from a commando-looking one.

Its 120 but its all about allocating funds. Whats better a like 15 little 4 inch joes or one bad arse Snake Eyes to end all Snake Eyes figures

Snake Eyes was my all time favorite Joe, so I had to pre-order this fig. I'm sure finding a wolf to go along with him won't be hard. Hell to think of it, my son still has the Timber from the Sigma line. If not, I know there are some wolves that you can buy at the local zoo that are in that scale.

They really could have at least made a Timber to go along with Snake Eyes. At least then it wouldn't seem like it's too much.
When I look at Sideshow's Snake Eyes, and I see those baggy sleeves and skinny arms, it really takes away from the figure. I have the same problem with the 13" figures from DC Direct. At first I think they are nice and then I see the feet and how goofy they look. Plus, I have Sideshow's John Wayne as Cavalry Officer figure. Now, it's nice but the clothing leaves something to be desired. It feels so delicate and the belt is so loose the I have to fold it at the back and secure it with a paperclip.
I do have Sideshow's Indiana Jones on pre-order, and at $90 it's still not as bad as the price on Snake Eyes. I would at least need free shipping to convince me to order Snake Eyes.

Oh you know I was just kidding.;) Like I said, the local zoo has these detailed animal figures in their gift shop. I think they are from Animal Planet or something?!?
