I was just wondering why the two figures arent worth more than $25-$30. There were only 1500 of each piece made and to me that is pretty rare. Does anybody have any comments regarding the price or rarity of this figure?

Well this is always the case, these figures are only worth as much as people are willing to pay for them.

Items with low production numbers have potential to be highly sought after collectibles especially if there is good demand for the player. Sometimes there is a good demand because of the low onhand. Football is popular and Jim Brown is a football great but a lot of fans just cannot relate to his greatness because he was before a lot of fans time. If the exclusive would have been a more current Browns player such as Kellen Winslow Jr. the demand right now may be greater. Jim Brown is a great football Legend. Over time the demand may jump up.

I always wonder if 1,500 is really a lot? I mean how do we know if a "standard" figure, say a Prince Fielder only had 1,000 produced, but it's not numbered. I think it's a very interesting thing to think about.

I actually don't think of the Jim Brown Exclusive figure being 1500/1500. I think of it being 3000. The number and no number on the helmet is a variation. If Jim Brown didn't have a regular series figure and the exclusive even figure was the home and the away jersey figures then I would think more about the production being 1500/1500 even though that is a variation to. It would be a more significant variation. Then I would think the demand would be higher. I would imagine that while there are collectors that would like both variations I'm sure there are a lot of collectors happy having just one of the two variations.
