I find this interesting news, and thought you would like a read:
"Just last week, astronomers announced they had discovered three super-Earths — worlds more massive than ours but small enough to most likely be rocky — orbiting a single star. And dozens of other worlds suspected of having masses in that same range were found around other stars"
"Being able to find three Earth-mass planets around a single star really makes the point that not only may many stars have one Earth, but they may very well have a couple of Earths," said Alan Boss, a planet formation theorist at the Carnegie Institution of Washington in Washington, D.C.

I'd consider it a HAUL if I found a planet variant.
I would then sell it and direct the profits towards the naming a star for the one you love company.

Yeah, it's real. That's the Hubble Ultra Deep Field.

That's very, very cool.
We really need to get into colonization mode. It's really ****ing stupid to keep all your eggs in one basket.
But, uh.....how do we know that there's not already life on these planets similar or more advanced than ours?

Yeah, a "while we're looking at them, they're looking back at us" scenario.
Let the invasion begin! :D

All I'm saying is, assuming the planets evolved along lines similar to ours with comparable radiation exposure, it's not too far a leap to assume that these planets may have life that is similar to ours.
Not sure they want a bunch Earther carpet baggers showing up to take their ****.
