Missing pieces? Update, anyone have an extra ball?

I'm pretty sure I have seen posts before regarding this matter but I can not remember what the answer is. I opened my 12inch Walter Payton to display last night. It has been sitting in the back of my closet for months. As I'm opening it I notice that he has no football in his arm. I open the package very carefully and discover it is nowhere in the box. It looks kind of silly in that pose without the ball. Is there anyway to get something like that from Mcfarlane? If so, how?

I emailed customer service and this is the response I got,

Dear Steve,

Thank you for contacting McFarlane toys.
Unfortunately our replacement parts program has been suspended. " Due to
our warehouse relocation, our replacement parts will not be available.
We are not positive at this time if or when the program will once again
be active.

So does anyone have an extra ball

I got it from another boardie, in person, I did not look at it closely, just put it in my trunk, brought it home and put it in the closet.
You can see remnants of glue on the arm where it once was. Must have been knocked off in the factory before they boxed it.

You might try the customsbyjomo.com forum. But that's going to be a tough find I think. Parts for 12" figures are hard to come by.
