My WOR 2 Custom

With a little time and the power of the Dremel....I made this. I'd also like to give a little thanks to Karnis for his input and help. Thanks dude.:cool:

That looks great! Did you also give the wings a white wash? I ask because I don't see the green that's on my Reedemer wing feathers.

I actually painted the white and gave it a light black wash. A smaller brush between the wings would do the job. But I know that green is a pain in the ass to get rid of.

All these WOR2 customs are very nice. McF should re-relase the Redeemer wings just by themselves for purchase on the online store, adapted to fit the WOR2 peg holes.

I actually painted the white and gave it a light black wash. A smaller brush between the wings would do the job. But I know that green is a pain in the ass to get rid of.

I'm in the middle of doing the same, but I used the reborn redeemer's black wings... pure black on wor2 didn't look right, so I painted them... I let it dry and was about to give another coat, but I thought they came out pretty good ( the white turned more of a cream for some reason) but the black is still showing through a bit... makes the wings look dirty, which kinda fits in with the fig IMO.

Even just as is... it's not that hard to dremmel them down.

Adapting them would require a new mold, and wouldn't likely happen.

I actually like the way that looks. Try a blaqck wash so it can blend in nicely. And hey, if you like...then that's what matters.

You really have to find the spot so it won't lean. Adjusting his right leg also helps. I actually bent the rod a little back and now it even supports heavier wings.;)

No, it's red leather...I actually made it myself with a little red, semi gloss black and a dot of pearl.

yeah i had to keep messing with it. I eventually had to move it so his hand is leaning on the detolf glass. Im afraid he'll fall over. :(

He really can stay on his own. it's mostly with his legs that you would have to work with. But like I said before, it's best to bend the rod back a little.

What did you do, dremmel down the long pegs on the wings to make them fit?
...and yes, bending that rod straight is the best & easiest way to make him balance better.

My bad, in the B/S/T thread I misread & thought you said the original WOR wings...sorry. The WOR 2 wings will probably fit right in on the Jackal King...in fact, they'll probably look better on the JK than on the WOR 2, the spikes would look cool on the JK.
