Help on this unknown TV show!!!

A friend of mine asked me if I know about a TV show that aired about 3 or 4 years ago...but I don't have any idea about it!!! here are the clues:

- The main character is an astronaut that accidentally is living in a planet of mutants.

- She has a female crush with another girl from the earth living there.

- There is a female that looks so much like Mystique from the X-MEN.

. He wants to return to the earth but to do that he needs to confront the evil forces of that planet...

Don't have idea of what TV series is that...can you help me please?...thanks!

your clues were rather off....he's an astronaut yes, but it's a living ship, with a group of excapie criminal aliens...

the other girl...well you are half right....is not from Earth is of the race called Peace Keepers...you are half right because you learn later on that the Peace Keepers did come from Earth, and were gentically/evolutanary aged by a group of Aliens to become inter galatic law, but forgot their perpous and became evil and have a war with another alien race called ...scarabs?....

really great show....you can get it all on dvd....and don't forget the movie "Peace Keeper Wars" to see the true ending.....

although I wish they had picked it up for a few more seasons..they left it open after all for a new season after the movie....oh well

before this show..and SG1 I had never seen a TV show that made me feel as though I was in the movies..both in story and cinitagraphy/cinimatics
