I'm not sure about this since SOE has the rights to it... I expect it to suck but we will see.

I'll definately give it a try. I've been waiting for a comicbook MMO whether it be DC or Marvel (would prefer Marvel though). City of Heroes just didn't seem to get the job done. And SOE isn't terrible with their MMO's so you never know.

Star Wars Galaxies is horrible... it wasn't to start with then they decided to make some "changes' and changed the whole game for the worst, and then changed it again...

Meh. I guess that's sort of neat, but I don't do the whole online gaming thing.

They changed it because people said it was too hard, then the population started to move over to WOW. I never played SWG, but it seems like they could have just split the game.

Anyway that MMO will be at least a year away.
I will log hours on Vanguard & LOTRO on the PC until then.
Maybe even some Age of Conan in a few months.

I saw an ad for DC's MMO in one of the comics I was reading last night. I'm not really into the online RPG scene but if it's cool game I'll check it out.

I beta tested SWG's and inevidably ended up playing it for like 6-9 months after it's release. That game had me addicted like no other game I've ever played. I could put 5-6 hours a day into that game and not think twice about it. It was a good game until everyone and their mother had a Jedi roaming around. But at first that game was pretty awesome. And hell who wants more then 6-12 months out of an MMO anyways? Anything more then that and you've wasted more of your life then you should have.

I like Jim Lee's work but I don't like his Joker at all, and his designing all of the characters in the game which I think is pretty lame. Nothing against lee or anything but its like they are using his name to sell off this game.

Neither do I. I've found online gaming to be totally unrewarding. A bunch of elitist nerds and annoying children. There's nothing worse than being on a squad with a 13 year-old kid and a self-professed 44 year-old S.E.A.L. who can't stop arguing with each other.

I like playing by myself. Gaming should be a solitary experience.

If you have the right friends online multiplayer is alot more fun then playing by yourself.
On a side note for the dc game i **** on any kind of mmo so **** this one too.

Ones you can play solo are pretty fun sometimes. LOTRO has a lot of stuff you can do solo, so I like it. I like the MMO aspect of it as you can see others in the world doing stuff around you. Nothing stays the same.

Ones where you have to get 20 people for a raid, screw those.
