Hi:

We know The Matrix have seen its share of figures and machines like the warrior exoskeleton and the Sentinels. Extremely detailed and exciting, these came late to my attention and went by too fast; I managed to get a Sentinel and a Neo figure. And so I would like to see them back, with an addition.

My wife and I are fans of the hovercrafts that appeared in the movies, particularly the Neb. and the Logos. For a time we kept looking at McFarlane's toys and other places for the hovercrafts to come up, we were so sure because of their machinistic beauty and movie significance. We were surprised they never happened, anywhere.

I take this opportunity to suggest a series of these are made in a nice size like the Sentinel toys, and others may use this thread to offer opinions on this possible series of ships. What do you think?

That would be cool and I would buy one for sure, but I don't know if McFarlane still has the Matrix license.

Well, he can renew it, right? The very fact that he would be the first to do the hovercrafts will probably bring tons of buyers, so I don't think renewing would be a bad idea.

Let's help him decide; how can we make a poll for Bring The Matrix Hovercraft Models.

I don't imagine that there would be a large market for these though. If they did make them, they would probably have to be pretty small.

I've been saying this forever. TMP SHOULD DO A LINE OF SCALED MOVIE VEHICLES!!!!!!!!!!!

It a no-brainer. I really don't see the damn problem here and it would be a line that could cut across every genre. I would love to have affordable versions of cool movie vehicles instead of this HALO crap.

That's not a nice model rxsheepxr, no contest against the intricate details of the makers behind the Sentinel and warrior machine. I agree with Holeman and we want the hovercrafts.

And what about that poll?

I would luv to see this happen, but sadly it never will.

Yeah that Pop Culture model is pretty bereft of details. TMP could do alot better.

well as much as some movie vehicles would be cool to see, the Halo figures are awesome and you are the only one thinking otherwise.

Yeah, I get that a lot. But, I'm kind of tired of variations on the same ****ing armor suit. Whoooo, it's a pink one! Whoopty ****ing doo.

I'll never buy any of this HALO stuff and I think I can muster up 100 people thinking the same thing. ;)

Well, I think everyone is entitled to enjoy their favorite. I just point out at some of the coolest vehicles in pop movie culture that haven't been made in model form. The Matrix's hovercraft are as amazing as anything in the Star Wars, Star Trek, Babylon 5, Galactica, etc. universes, and I think there are hundreds waiting for them.

Come on man, someone tells me how to put up a poll!

Why would you say that? Such a depressing statement...

Look, I like the HALO stuff. But, seriously for a board that constantly *****es and moans about repaints? You guys are eating this **** up.

I just want a series that feels like TMP is actually giving a crap about it's fans. You know, like MM. Something I can look forward to buying every year. If they made a series of movie vehicles, I would buy the **** out of those and so would every vehicle collector known to man. Hint: this includes those sweaty Hot Wheels guys TMP should be trying to impress! They'll go to other ****ing states to buy your ****.

those movies were awful. and there's no reason to relicense a dead property,

Although I differ about the movies being awful (the first one was almost perfect), I think it's beside the point that the ships and machines were great. Also The Matrix isn't a dead property, it's engraved into pop-culture forever and it's just a matter of getting a new license.

+1

I really don't care for anything Halo. It's all just so boring and craptacular. I think the fad will pass in the next year or so. The Q/C isn't doing much for the line anyway. Then you have small scale figures, multiple retailers with different exclusives, and each at different prices. I think the sculpts are better than Guitar Hero, but that's not saying much. No thanks.
