Spidey’s got a new lease on life, new powers, and a new costume, courtesy of his new best friend Tony Stark.

I picked up an Animated Spider-Man action figure (Spider Armor) and used it as the base figure. To keep things original the rest of the parts used also came from another Spider-man action figure (Spinning Kick Attack spider action figure). With this figure I carefully removed parts such as lower arms/hands, legs/feet and last his head. Once all the parts were attached together I used little bit of apoxie sculpt to smooth things out. As usual I use Testors Model Master Acrylic paint due to it's body's soft plastic parts.

To top things off I installed a nice little 5mm 16000MCD LED (intensely bright) along with a switch, also I managed to customize an internal battery holder along with battery cover. This 5mm Blue LED uses 3 LR621 button cell battery to operate properly.

I'm still not done with Iron Man series project, I have a few more to come, just waiting for funds to complete the rest of them. If you visit my website (by clicking on my banner below) I have more photos of Spidey.

This photo below was my last project by the way.

I take it you don't keep up with the actual comic ? :p

I confess I don't read that much comic books :D I like just like to browse the net all day long and dig up characters, if it looks nice I just skip reading story behind the character(s) and start customizing! that's Chris Morada for you :D. Really tho I need to start reading comic books again, it's been a while since iv'e read one (last one was #3 Spawn):p

Anyways, thanks for the complements! As I mentioned earlier, I'm working on another Iron Man figure, another light up figure! Shhhh keep this on the low! ;) By the way this customizing things is insane, I'm hooked and I can't sleep properly, so many characters, so many ideas! AhhhhhhHHHHHHhhhhhhhHHHHHHH Ok I need to it's currently 9.20 a.m. here and I need my 8 hours of sleep! Good night guys!

The paint on the Iron Man does look really great. I can't personally tell any other differences besides the paint though... are there any?

Nope nothing too crazy with that Iron Man, just a repaint and by the way that's an old custom.

The blades are a bit too large, but other than that . . . Very nicely done.

That... and the iron spider suit didn't have a repulsor ray. ;)

Should've noticed that, but wasn't even awake yet . . . ;)

I know but it was a empty spot and my hands were itchin to put a cool led in there.:D
I know nowhere in the comic book ever metioned about Iron Spidey having an Arc Reactor on his chest. I was just testing water ;)

I hope I didn't offend anyone!:D
