has anyone been to Gen Con in Indianapolis?

i am thinking of attending and was wondering if it was worth it. i don't dress up in costumes and i know its a big gaming show.
i was wondering if it was worth going to buy stuff and was wondering if it had a lot of people attending. somebody told me that it got twice as many people as the wizard world chicago show.
any info would be greatly appreciated.

I only went to get a Gentle Giant Mara Jade exclusive a few years ago. If you're not into gaming, I'd probably avoid it.

anyone else? i dont' want to attend if the show is dead but if its crowded and has a good vibe, i'm ready to attend.

I heard good things - but I use to live in Indianapolis so for locals it was an easy attend.
