OT: Chicago

So i'm leaving for chicago tomorrow and just wondering what are some cool collector related places there that i can check out and maybe get some nice hauls from? Also any suggestions on normal things to do in the city. Would i really have to wait an hour for a hot dog at Hot Dougs? Main reason i'm going is to see the Marlins at Wrigley for a 4 game series!

Try Quake Toys by Lawrence and Western area. It's on Lincoln Ave. in German Town.

Also, if you don't mind going to Elk Grove Village right outside Chicago you should go to Toynk. It's about 5-10 minutes away from O'hare. Google them and get some driving directions. Bot are great stores with a huge variety of stuff.

yes, it's not uncommon to wait an hour at Hot Dougs. There is ALWAYS a line out the door and along the building. I've never bothered to wait in line. There are plenty of good places to eat while you're in town.

Staying with my brother who just moved there. He lives about 7 blocks from wrigley. Hell Yeah i'll goto TRU friday night! I was thinking about doing it anyways just to see how crazy it gets and maybe grab some free stuff!

If want a real hot dog, hit up Superdawg on Milwaukee. Its been there since 1948 old-school drive in style. And great dogs. I have lived 5 minutes away from them for 20 years, and I love the place.

Here ya go guys.. the more the merrier, we're a fun bunch of guys that get together once a month, sometimes more.. just to trade, hook each other up with goodies we pick up, or just hang out and shoot the bull... everyone in the chicagoland area is welcome!!!

We don't really have plans for MM, we're all just getting together there, grabbing some portillos, maybe some Hooters for a late night snack, but mainly just going to hang with eachother.. heck, I'm might just buy one or two evo packs, a Yarna if I fond a good painted one, and that's it, I'm just mainly going for the company, and being a "gopher" for anyone who needs anything, lol.

I actually use to live in Downers Grove. Although I am sure it has drastically changed since I have been there.

Yeah, now its some 2 story glass monstrasity. Its nice inside, but the old one was cooler. They have a small glass-front building next to it with some of the old memorabilia in it.
