I actually found TWO chase figures and didnt buy either (W.Moon and Ichiro)

Yes, the Ichiro I found with NO ball is still sitting there and has been for well over a month. Tonight I found (and left behind) a Warren Moon with blue sleeves. I'm torn between being happy that I could find a chase, and not caring enough to buy it. Weird stuff going on these days. :confused:

i don't know Matz personally but i've read enough of his posts to know it is without a doubt the latter. Andy is a completist , if he is passing up "chase" figs, it tells me something about TMP's attempt to "tweak" the hobby

TRU today had 2 Moons, a Long, Lambert and a Riggins. I left them all because I really wanted to get the 3 QBs at once. I may pick up a Moon if it's still there next time I go. Whenever that will be.

that's nothing. i left 4 vince young blue pants chases in my TRU and a travis hafner surprise at my BC sports that was surprisingly marked $14.99 only.

BCSports has only been charging 15 for surprises. I stocked up on Hamiltons. :)

I did the same thing. I have seen both chases and was tempted by the Moon. But I just couldn't justify it. I have opened half of the new legends, the other half is still unopened. Times they are a changin'

Same thing here. I found 2 Tarkentons and 1 Lambert. Left them all! I thought about buying the lambert but thought the better of it. The $10.99 thing is a bigger deal then I thought. I know its only a dollar but it just looks so much worse then $9.99.

A day later....... guess what guys, its still there... ;) I did pick it up, at the TRU in Huntington, for another boardie..he offered to trade me a SGA Jeff Bagwell bobble... Now I can finally say that a chase is worth something to me... :D seriously, I gave up chase figures years ago. I am a regular figure completist only...... AND a retro figure completist... I just never saw the point of having 2 figures of the same player in the same teams uniform. Oh, but those retros..... oh baby, I love that.. and I do love the fact that a retro could show up in a later series as part of the regular release.

Not mine. They're putting the new "tweaked" chase figures on a shelf in back of the register and adding 10 bucks to the price.
