Any one remember his famous way of catching pop flies where he would catch it and then smack his thigh with the mitt?

yeah i do and my cusin used to do that in the outfield for the family soft ball team. nothing wrong with a little bit of hotdog'n

Catch it with a swipe sideways, then slap it against his thigh. Can't wait to see his induction speech next year, should be entertaining.
