New "Hobbit" Figures

With DelToro getting ready to start filming the two back-to-back Hobbit films, would you support figures from the film? And who would you like to make them? If there are any made, I'd want them to stay at the 6" scale, and be superposeable like the ToyBiz figures. Personally I wouldn't mind McFarlane producing 6" figure if they make them articulated like the Halo 3 figures. Mezco would be my second choice with how well they've done the Hellboy/Hellboy II figures.

I liked what NECA did with the EPIC Scale Aragorn, Gandolf and Legolas so I wouldnt mind seeing them get the license. Maybe they could release a 7" scale Gandalf of there previous 20" to accompany my Balrog. Right now I have a Toybiz Gandalf which ok, but Id like a 7" Gandalf of NECAs to replace it :)

Also they could go ahead and do a 6" scale SMAUG!! LOL now Im dreaming....

I thought Toybiz did a good job with LOR. But I voted for Hasbro. I really like to see 3 3/4 scale figures to interact with my Indy and Star Wars figures. I am sure McFarlane would do an awesome job! But I am really wanting 3 3/4 scale figures.

Man thats tough, I'd pick almost any of those company(with the exception of hasbro), as they have all proven they can make sweet ass figures if they want.

I had to narrow it down to three:
-TMP figs would rock IF they were doing with Halo-ish articulation. That's also assuming they could actually GET the license. Being handed the LotR license before and turning it down could bite TMP in the butt there.
-ToyBiz IMO did pretty darn good with figs from the Trilogy. If they kept things status quo, they'd do a good job with The Hobbit
-NECA-four words: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. NECA completely knocked it out of the park with TMNT. Very faithful to the comics, great articulation.


Who would I LIKE to see do Hobbit figs? Any of the above really. But, for this one, I'm voting for who I think WILL do them: Marvel Toys (ToyBiz)
