Halo series 2 quality improvment?

So showed up at my local Wal-Mart this morning and they didn't have any Halo S2 exclusives, but I did pick up another MC (for my desk at work) and as I pulled him out I noticed that the color seemed a little better, and the overall quality of the figure seemed a little better. Zero joint problems on this guy, etc. So, I wonder if the delay in getting these to Wal-Mart had anything to do with that? Has anybody else noticed this?

Edit: I should note that my earlier Series 2 figures from BBTS seemed to have a ton of problems with stuck joints, etc, and I had an MC (who has since become a "Shaprie Spartan") who's hand came off.

I have a S2 Red CQB who doesn't have a thumb on his right hand. No, it didn't break off or was loose in the package. It wasn't there! Awesome for trying to hold his shottie let me tell you. Hopefully they got better cause that was annoying. And don't get me started on the Drones. They are absolute *****es to get standing up.

if they figures are getting better then i applaud it because the quality control i hate to say is horrible

Ive never realy had any problems with my Series 2 arbiter (other then the limited amount of poses he can actually make) and my cousin has no problems with tan scout i got him, the only thing i actually have a major problem with is the porportions of the arbiters body, its like hes fat, but if you look at anything arbiter related (or elite related at that matter) hes not even close to being fat.

ive had an issue with halo figures having they arms on backwards or two left arms or they bend backwards at the elbow... since the only way i can get these figs is online i pay alot for them very discouraging. which is why i havent bought the expensive varients yet ...

YEah dude, i can So realte to this
my WALMART has NO halo toys whatsoever so it sucks
and no, for me... the quality of series to got WORSE WAY worse
because my White EVAs hand broke off and my tan SCOUTs arms were all stuck, but i fixed him up with warm water

Out of the 17 figures opened I had 3 with broken hands right out of a the package. One was a series 1 Red EVA and the others were a series 2 Red CQB and ODST. Another 3 from series 2 with loose or poorly fitted joints. Luckily I was able to return 2 of the broken handed ones and repair the rest.

It could be the slightly softer plastic compound McF uses to get better detail and articulation so maybe it a trade off. I always thought McF toys were better detailed but not as robust as other toy companies products.
