MM's are so lame, don't really understand the cult following they have developed.

I guess you can make any crap Star Wars toy so ppl start buying them, then market them to other collectible demographics once all the Star Wars kids have jumped on board and they are considered "collectible."

Just goes to show how ppl will buy anything.

Nice custom work though, don't mean to poo on your thread...just had to get that off my chest.

just used some super sculpey and sculpted the bill on it and then added a little ball of sculpt at the top like a real hat

Upper Deck has an MVP vinyl series coming out sometime this year or next, assuming you're thinking of the ones with the team-inspired paint jobs done by a handful of cult artists.

Yeah, word was already out that they were shelved, and I talked to a rep at Comic Con who confirmed it- they didn't test well with consumers. I was looking forward to them, but at $40 or so a pop, it would have been hard to swallow buying them all.
