They've already got the rights to the regular game. I don't know that we'd see anything from that specific license though because there's already so many figs. i know that. thats what led the covanent to seperate, (and the brutes killing half the elites) and speaking of the covanent seperating, remember how the grunts and hunters were on the elites side in the end of halo 2? what happend there because in halo 3 they're back with the brutes. i think that was a bull**** move by bungie.:mad:

There were groups of grunts and hunters that remained loyal to the Elites, but it was not a complete split among the races. The fleet that jumped to Earth to open the ark were full of phophet-loyal Convenant. The Elites, loyal to the Arbitor, joined the fight with the humans. The few times that Elites fought along-side MC, the loyal grunts just weren't part of the pack.

the fact that it is coming to consoles and ported to PC ruins the game. It holds ALOT of options back. It might be a decent game, but rts is never as good on consoles because of the limitations.

something i would love to see though game wise.a halo game in the same format or style as supreme commander. you get to train your spartains and upgrade them along the way. you start with a squad that completes missions.but any losses you can not rebuild. also able to control space fleets and grab tec along the way. now i think that would be a cool move.

None of this argument manners, the figures will never happen. There's just not a big enough market and not enough unique figures to make it feasible. The draw of Halo Wars is the vehicular combat, and guess what sold terribly? That's right, the Vehicles.

for me, the draw is going to be the streamline RTS system, not the vehicles. besides, I've always been a bigger fan of the infantry units when it comes to those games.

watching the pitched battles in Dawn of War between all my various squads and the different ways the units interacted with each other way one of my favorite things. the vehicles usually did the same thing, but with the infantry you could see how long that last unit in the squad would last and there was so much entertainment when my last guy managed to maul through their entire squad before one of either side's reinforcements could spawn because he was a flamethrower unit going against thier squad of anti-armor units.

Well all right, but figure wise. None of the characters are new, just slight redesigns.

Kind of a bit OT here...
There is a couple of companies I know of that makes the armor, helmet, and the rifles of the spartans for Legos. You can convert you lego minifigs into and army of spartans. Now if halo wars got picked up by lego, that would be pretty sweet. Or make your won halo stuff. Hell, you can build 10 warthogs and a pelican if you wanted.

I would like to see mcfarlane do halo wars. Hell, I just want a warthog for my halo3 guys, who am I kidding.
And I know absolutely nothing about the game, books, sorty, lore...whatever. Never played any of them. Probably never will. I haven't bought a console since the orginal Playstation in ummm 95-96 timeframe. Still works! All I know is that the halo guys are pretty frickin sweet figs and they look bad@ss.

None of this argument manners, the figures will never happen. There's just not a big enough market and not enough unique figures to make it feasible. The draw of Halo Wars is the vehicular combat, and guess what sold terribly? That's right, the Vehicles.I think that about sums it right there.
