OT: I just got hired by the New York Post *UPDATE

To photograph Northern California national stories. Tomorrow I'll be staking out the house of Rebbecca Sneed, the wife of one of the Menendez Brothers(those guys who killed their parents). If she doesn't agree to an interview and portraits then I'll be doing it paparazzi style. I'm stoked. And they pay a ton. I'm finally moving up in the photojournalism world. :D

But they think I'll be fine because they've been stalking her in the afternoon and she knows their faces. I'm hitting her in the morning and I'll blend in a little better.

I wouldn't exactly call me a pap ll the way. I'm still going to be a photojournalist for the paper I currently work for. You only do stuff like this when a person won't agree to an interview, which most people normally do. But apparently this lady is a real b!%#h so I don't really feel bad for doing this to her.

The rest of the time I'll be shooting real stories. And the money is nice, but that's not the full reason I'm doing this. In photoj, having my name attached to something as big as the post will open up much larger possibilities; a step towards larger newspapers and a step closer to my ultimate goal of becoming a war photographer.

And yes, paps are human schlongroaches.

UPDATE: I just got home from my 8 hour "work day." I got to her house and around 7:30. She came out at 8. I shot 7 photos, only one will be used. And the rest of the day I sat in my car, in the shade of a big tree, across from her office. Didn't see her again all day, didn't talk to her, didn't interact with her. So My day consisted of about 20 seconds of actual work and 7 hours, 40 seconds of doodling on my notepad with a sharpie. Not a bad day making $250 plus other expenses. :D
