Guys I am trying to find a box to ship 1 of the NEW figures in, and after being to WM and Office max, I have not been able to find 1 with the size I need to make sure I can bubble wrap it and still have room around the edges to pack it..
any size dimentions or suggestions are appreciated as I do NOT want the boardie to think I have SCREWED him over..
Thanks

Try connecting two 12x12 square priority mail boxes together, one over the other, then tape them together. I do it all the time when the item exceeds the box size. You'll be able to stand those figures straight up inside the boxes with plenty of packing material around them.

I have had to order custom 15 x 10 x 7 boxes for just one figure. If you send more than 2 of them through Priority Mail or Parcel Select you'll hit the dimensional weight and they will bill you at least the 10 pound rate. The suggestion above is a good one, but only if you are shipping to zones 1 to 4 or you can keep it smaller than 12 inches height and I'm not sure that is possible. If you hit the dimensional weight you'll have to pay between $17.72 to zone 5 and $22.51 to zone 7. You can do a zone chart check on usps.com.
There really is no great solution. If you go to a PakMail or a UPS Store they'll charge you over $4 for a 12 x 12 x 12 box. The shipping cost through UPS will be around $9 for ground if it is going to a residential address. If you ship infrequently probably the best solution is to find a used box that is under a cubic foot. If you ship weekly the best thing to do would likely be to order a bundle of boxes from a local box manufacturer. At retail you'll be paying between $4-$5 a box every time you want to ship which is still cheaper than combining two Priority Mail #7 boxes. For 1-2 figures it is cheaper to buy your own box and ship Parcel Select through the post office.

I would use the same box for the old NHLPA figures

Soi far I've been lucky enough as not to incur the surcharge from USPS from using the above method. The key is to slide those 2 boxes together as close as you can and then connect them. I've shipped 3 packs with my method and had pretty good success.
