Sweet, albeit I have no clue what's inside. That's why I can never purchase a mystery car at this moment. Being a MOCer, that practically makes no sense to me. For all I know, I could be buying the same car. But still, cool haul.

The point of the mystery package? To allow the company to stick their hands further in our pockets of course. ;) I was looking at their website one time and saw last year's lineup of the mystery cars(I think it was last year). One of the cars was the batmobile from The Batman, and I seriously thought about heading to the store and ripping every one of those ****ers open just to find a damned batmobile. I think it's ridiculous as well. *sigh*

I have never seen a mystery car go for more than a $1. Where are the rare ones. Maybe its rare that they are not open. Every single one I see on the peg, someone has ripped it open.

Hey, you're preaching to the choir here. ;) I'm not sure how HotWheels collectors determine the value or specialty with those Mystery Cars. I remember seeing a picture somewhere, maybe on this board, of a Mystery Car sans the blackout, but it was still sealed to the card. How was that possible, I'm not sure. Maybe the person did a switch-a-roo of the plastic bubble and glued the clear one on the mystery card. But then I wonder, would it still be a valuable piece amongst HW collectors? As you said, it's pointless. I go to WM and TRU and see opened Mystery Cars all the time. Hilarious!

it's a luv/hate thing for me. I have found some of the rare ones that are being spoken off. These are almost as fun as T-hunts. I dislike the fact that at times I have bought 10 and gotten 3 of one car 3 or another and others I didn't want. Maybe I will post my mystery car collection later...

Because I baught them for you I went to 3 stores looking for T-Hunts for ya but this is all I could find.. im not into HW if you want I can open them to see if you like them. I was going to send them to ya anyway

We're not getting the mystery cars here in Canada this year. Actually saw the Easter Eggsclusives at the local WM today.
