So I was thinking, with the recon armor being exclusive to the halo points redemption, and there so far being only three sets of armor, isn't it likely that we will see McFarlane do more repaints, like, gold, orange, silver, steel....list goes on and on.

i dont care i just want a red recon and katana but i need 300 ore points to get those:(

I would imagine we will eventually get the recon armor in EVERY color. Red, Blue, and clear were the first variant colors, so it makes sense they'd get the recon armor first. I'd expect to see white, steel, and olive recon armors next year.

It irritates me that we're given ONLY the armor pieces and not a whole figure though. Given how difficult the blue and clear Spartans were to obtain, it's annoying to have to give one up to make a recon Spartan.

also I figured I would post this as maybe you guys hadn't thought about that, cause that means if you want a squad of recons, you should get extras of certain spartans.

They use UPS, so he'll be in a ziplock bag, half opened, in a bubble envelope...

So just spray paint a MC gold and throw it in a ziplock bag, BAM, in package Gold MC.

BTW, they'll only make Recons of ones most people can get. So you prolly won't need double purple, or gold. But odds are there will be a Silver and an Olive eventually. I don't even think they'll do a Pink.

AC anyone can get when the EVAs come out in a couple weeks. They're not gonna be as limited as the CQB was. And alot of people are SUPPOSED to be able to get the blues. WM is the issue there, and scalpers. They were mass produced like the rest. But no one can keep em on the shelves, let alone the exclusives. And WM was just holding most of em till the mods were done. More and more are showing up every day, and the Ebay price went down over the last 2 weeks. Plus I think the Mark VI blues were easy to come by. I found one less then a month ago on clearance. So I have an extra for the Recon Armor already.

If it is all you have to do is preorder it. I think they're still up, but I'm not sure. I didn't look in a while. I preordered mine already just in case. And there's an AC arbiter coming out. So they might do an AC Mark VI for the masses later too. But I unno, I thought the EVA was gonna be for everyone, and that they were gonna make a bunch. I might be wrong.

My preorder status said preordering ended 8/15/08. You missed it by like a few days if you started a couple weeks ago. That sucks. If we can order more then 1 I might order a couple extras for people who couldn't preorder them.

... I don't remember. It was last month, when the site was down entirely, and you could only preorder the EVA, and they said it would be processed when the site came back up. I prolly only ordered 1 then. I have a bad memory, and it's been a while.
