Why the hell is he so expensive? He's going for $40+ on ebay. I could buy a whole sentinel for that. What am I missing? I was in jail when the sentinel series came out so I've been trying to buy it slowly on Ebay. So wth?

I honestly couldn't tell you why, but he was the hardest one in that series for me to find. I even saw both variants multiple times, but only ever found one spiderman in all my searching at retail. He isnt even that great of a figure, within an hour of opening him all the jointed fingers fell off his right hand. Good luck in your hunt.

That's okay.
Alot of the time they come out and are very contributive members integrated back into society. The time does everyone alot of good.
The Sentinel series was when things essentially peaked for Marvel figures.

Well, these are some factors to...keep in mind.

It's a Spider-Man from the Sentinel BAF wave, one of the most greatest BAF series ever.
Made by Toybiz, the masters of Marvel figures.
It's the FA Spider-Man.

All those combined make a pretty rare and expensive figure.

I think it has very little to do with Spidey and more to do with the Sentinel. He carries the torso and head of the sentinel; those are usually the most sought after.
