OT: Anyone ever get something autographed?

Has anyone ever gotten anything autographed from a movie/tv/sports/etc person? So far I only have one, and that was from a voice actor that played Meat on Ultimate Muscle (has done alot of voice overs as well).

I plan on getting these things signed, just gotta send them to the people (got the ok from both the actors). The Leo has to be reprinted though since the printer was running low on ink during printing. But Ill send that along with the Clone Wars picture. The DVD slip is going to the actor that played Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist.

The white around the Leo and Clone pictures will be trimmed off, but the ink is still a tad fresh so I gotta wait abit for that.

its gonna take awhile for it to get to them, and even longer for them to shift through the rest to get to mine, so I can expect a wait. But soon.....

i have an autographed pic of gillian anderson..when the x-files were still on, i wrote to gillian, asked for an autograph and got one..i have it framed

i meet the last 3 original members of korn recently on tour, had a korn "rag doll" plush thats on the cover of issues autographed, one of the best moments in my life

got my ticket stub autographed by 3/4th of mudvayne...just needed the drummer

met michael turner during his fathom tour (right before he found out he had cancer) he autographed a shirt, poster, comics galore and an aspen action figure i had...another one of my most favorite moments...

i got gillian's info off the x-files website way back when...browse around the website of ur favorite tv shows, usually there is an webpage that has all the info..usually it will state for u to put the actor/actress name then c/o (care of) followed by the address

I've got a ton of comic books signed by some of the industry's greatest, which include Todd McFarlane, Mark Brooks, Jim Lee, Whilce Portacio, Brett Booth, Leinil Yu, and many others at comic book conventions. I've also managed to get some celebrity autographs as well such as Ron Pearlman, Guillermo Del Toro, Selma Blair, Natalie Portman, Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, James Marsden, and more!!

I've also got some autographs from different Power Rangers during a fund raiser in LA last June called Power Morphicon. Due to the low turnout, the event was more intimate and I was able to get a ton of photos and autographs.

Stuff that's been signed include comic books, action figures, DVD covers, and of course
8x10 photos.

It's a great hobby and not too hard if you attend trade shows like Comic-Con. The ultimate goal would be to get some sneakers signed by his royal Airness, Michael Jordan, but I know that will NEVER happen. Hahahaha!!!

The only items I have that are autographed is a 16" x 24" Soundwave poster signed by the entire Dreamwave staff from SDCC04, and the Gungrave figure box package signed by Yashiro Nightow.

I used to own a massive collection of autographed comic books when I would attend SDCC yearly. I also got into the habit of buying signed comics from my LCS where I grew up. I had maybe 60-75 comics all stored in a 3-ring binder. I wound up selling them years ago to another comic book shop but I got a pretty good price for them all.

Those are my favorite of your bunch. Would of loved to have that figured signed by JB, would look great with my other boba stuff. The Turtles set looks good as well, but the CLERKS toys signed is nice as well.....well the one that is.

I've got about 30-40 signed comics from various artists and writers, from McFarlane to Turner to Mignola to Quesada, down to the more indy guys like Cameron Stewart and Nick Bradshaw.

I also just got sent one of those new Spawn lithographs signed by the new creative team on the comic (thanks to Orbits for setting that up).

I've got a couple of signed novels, mostly by local writers.

I've got a few convention sketches here and there. Cam Stewart drew me Hellboy, Peter Laird drew me Donatello, Cary Nord drew me Conan, Alvin Lee drew me Taskmaster, Skottie Young drew me Johnny Storm, Nick Bradshaw drew me Ash from Evil Dead (my favorite con sketch), Amanda Conner drew me 'The Pro.' There are a couple others that I'm forgetting.

Nothing by any actors or anything, I don't really handle waiting in lines too well, so I just don't bother.

Getting signed Kevin Smith stuff is totally easy. The guy sells almost everything on the View Askew site signed and not much of a premium for it either. I got a ton of stuff including the books signed for my wife a couple years back.
