I am sticking with the Pats. The Bills did look super impressive today. The Jets verily beat a Dolphin team that is in rebuilding mode. So the jury still out on them how good they are. But one game does not make a season.

Dude, you gotta delete this thread. As a huge Jets fan, I can honestly say, the Patriots are still the class of the AFC East (If not the entire AFC, and league). As Comrade said, the Pats are not going to go 1-15 this year because Brady is out. The rest of their team is stacked, and if anything, a guy in Cassel's position has it easier since he has so many weapons, and a great system to play in.

Are they still the favorites to win it all? Probably not, but they'll be okay.

Did I miss some sort of memo about the Jets being a dominant team this year or something? They BARELY scrapped by a 1-15 team who lost their biggest weapon on defense this offseason and added a Jets fan favorite, Chad Pennington. Despite that they still almost lost had it not been for a safety making an absolutely bonehead and ridiculous mistake on a 4th down and 13.

Even being a Bills fan I'll be the first to admit, with Brady or without Brady the Patriots are still the team to beat in the AFC East. Brady being lost for the season has definitely leveled the playing field a bit but they still have way too much talent on that team to assume they are going to be bottom feeders all of a sudden. And after watching the Bills play today I truthfully think it's absurd that people are crowning the Jets as AFC East champs already when the deadly combo of Chad Pennington and David Martin almost dismantled the mighty Jets.

As much as any Patriot hater (including myself) would love to see the Patriots in the cellar this year.....it isnt going to happen. They are too strong a "team". They will find a serviceable QB (digging the mothballs out of Testeverde's body as we speak:D) and will still win the division. They wont be 14-2 that they would have been with Brady...but they will still finish 10-6 which will be good enuf to win the division....first round exit from the playoffs is pretty likely though....

As well as the Bills did yesterday, they were playing an extremely broken team. Until the offense can put it into the endzone instead of kicking FGs then I'd be a little more optimistic. Edwards needs some more time to get comfortable with the offense.
