I have a 1997 Jays jersey that says "Martinez 35" on the back. Didn't Sandy Martinez wear #66? Also has the Jackie Robinson 50th anniv patch. Help!

I have a hard time remembering guys with 6 career homers and 50 career rbi's. ;)
I'm not sure what you want to know. I can't confirm for you what number he wore. The Martinez who played for the Jays in 97 was Sandy Martinez.
Here's his stats:

Here's his teammates (you can see he was the only Martinez on the roster that year), and it looks like he played a whole 3 games that year:

And here's what the 1997 Jays uni looked like:

Thanks for the help - except the jersey is dark blue, not white or grey as shown...?

Was there actually a dark blue alternate jersey issued??

very very possible. The uniform database doesn't seem to show alternate 3rd jerseys for any year, when we know they exist.

If I remember correctly Sandy Martinez (who was also known as Angel Martinez) was up and down with the Jays for a few seasons, so it's very likely he wore multiple numbers.
And yes, I'm almost positive the Jays had a blue alternate in '97.
