but I could really go for a sandwich right now. If you could get any sandwich you wanted, what would it be?

I'd go with a Capicola and Cheese from Primanti Bros.

French Fries

Damn. That's... ... AWESOME!

I would go with the Fibber's Chicken sandwich from Molly McGee's in Lawrence, Kansas.

Marinated chicken breast, swiss, a slice of pineapple, with their homemade honey mustard sauce - the BEST honey mustard sauce I have ever tasted. It's more addictive than crack.

But seeing as Molly's has gone out of business, I would settle for a Californian from Planet Sub. :)

When I was last in San Diego I found a section of town called little Italy. There was a restaurant that had a sandwich called "the Torpedo." It was just some kind of salami, with shredded lettuce, tomato, salt & pepper, and olive oil on a roll.

So simple and so delicious. I'd kill for one right now.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Chipotle chicken, no beans, corn and mild salsa with sour cream, cheese, and guacamole. Top it off with some chipotle tabasco sauce, and it's a meal fit for a king.

There's a local bar, I go to every Thursday with my friends, that has the best sandwich around. It's called the Darrell's Special. It's turkey, ham, roast beef which has been cooking in a crock pot with gravy, 3 different cheeses, a little lettuce, and some homemade jalapeno mayo all hot on 12" toasted french bread. That and some cold beer...man work can't end soon enough.
