I saw that NECA Head Knocker at SDCC. It is available for pre-order at entertainmentearth.com for $17.99. There's no mention of a sound chip. I personally don't care for Head Knockers and Bobble Heads.

Just to chime in. Cool looking figure but what was the reasoning behind the spider walking? Was it just to show that Satan is a good contortionist?

cause that was a deleted scene from the original and thend to the rerelease that came out a few years ago

Wasn't McFarlane working on that one for a while but couldn't get it right for the studio's approval so they eventually lost the rights?

allegedely the studio didn't want a figure of regan possessed they wanted a figure of her prior to that. What good is a figure of a little girl if she's not covered in vomit and her heads spinning :eek: :rolleyes: :D

You consider Oldboy horror? Dude, I love Oldboy, but it's not horror.

And there's nothing wrong with the Exorcise, you just seem to be some under-18 year old chip on his movie-going shoulder type who wasn't around when The Exorcist came out and missed out on a classic.

Sure, it's not "all that" right now, but when that movie first came out, you'd be hard pressed to finds anything more terrifying. Just let it go, you hate it, that's great for you. Congratulations on missing out... but to call it garbage is ignorant.

The Excorcist is probably one of the few truely scary films ever made, The Ring......not so much. If the Excorcist does not qualify as "good horror" in your book you might want to stick to critiquing Rob Schnider movies and romantic comedies.

Then A New Hope 4 is a horror movie because Kenobi sliced of Ponda Baba's arm. :p
And Rambo 4 had gallons of blood, and people being ripped apart, but it's not a horror movie.

To some people blood = horror.

I thought the Excorcist was damn scary. You know why? Because it at times the movie shakes Judiah-Christian faith. I was raised Roman Catholic and was taught that God is the ultimate power. To have a demon challange that is... well scary.

My question to you guys is, do you think the fear factor is lost on people who are not from a Judiah-Christian religion?
