Man I have been a Browns fan for 29 years and I just want one season of joy but I honestly think it will never happen. How do other Browns fans feel?

I'm sick and tired of seeing the same garbage put on the field year in and year out. The Browns are a collection of losers. Most don't deserve to be playing in the NFL and those that do are severely underachieving thus far this season. The team lacks discipline and mental toughness. I'm tired of watching it, and I've been a season ticket holder in the Dawg Pound for the last five seasons. Really don't think I'll be purchasing a ticket next season unless the attitude of the team changes between now and next year.

I think its harder to be a Raiders fan, esp. when we were used to winning years ago.

I am a Giants fan, and no i didnt jump on no bandwagon. It must be hard being a fan for any of those teams really. What does it cost to go to a game in oakland or cleveland?

I feel your pain. I’ve been a Browns fan as long as you and it’s sad when most Sundays I can’t stomach watching them the whole game. I knew this was going to be a tougher year when I saw the schedule but I didn’t expect them to come out playing like they had no heart. Maybe they are playing as hard as they can and last year was a fluke.
I really don’t want them to get rid of Romeo because then the whole season is lost, nfl players don’t last that long and they’re wasting one season. They showed they are not a playoff team right now by the way they’ve played, but if things don’t get better he has to go. I’m not saying they have to win every game, but at least but something out there that competes and looks like they have a chance to win. We’re suckers, get close and we’ll keep coming back paying for tickets, buying shirts, and anything else orange and brown.
It’s not all the coaches fault, the players have to worry about playing and not about designing the uniform or how many movie opportunities they’re going to get after their career is over. (What good is a receiver that doesn’t catch the ball?)

I feel your pain, but I might have to say its tougher to be a Jets fan. Of course I have to factor in that playoff game in 86. Mark Gastineau haunts me.

Braylon Edwards is a total beast. I think D.A. is feeling the sophomore slump and the competition now has enough tape to gameplan against him. If he is able to stick around for the rest of the season (probably not with Quinn waiting in the wings), I think D.A. will be able to rebound. Jamal is getting old..defense is weak. The season isn't over....

Not expensive at all, that's why I don't mind them sucking. :D

Exactly and as long as Al Davis has everything under controll we won't have a winning season anymore! The Browns were good last year but the Raiders suck since 5 years!!!! So stop crying browns-fans all the compassion should go to us, the raider nation. :D

The Browns were a great 'pre-merger' football team. Even in the 1980's, they were a very good organization that just couldn't close the deal.
They haven't been the same since the expansion deal. You said they have a team full of guys that shouldn't be in the league but that's not true. They've got a good set of talented players on both sides of the ball, they've just apparently got a coach who forgot what the heck he was doing.
They should have made the playoffs last year until Anderson gave away the game vs Cincy in a matter of 2:00 minutes. The should be better than they are right now. That said, 2-14 isn't out of the question. They've got a good chance of losing every game they have left except the two vs Cincy and the 1 vs Houston. Yikes.

You could always root for one of the other teams in the Afc North. The Pittsburgh Steelers come to mind. :D

I feel bad for fans of the Browns and Lions. My favorite teams in the three sports I watch have all won championships in my lifetime and I'm only 27. I've been frustrated that the Jays haven't made the playoffs in 15 years and are in the hardest division to do so, but I really have nothing to complain about compared to a Pirates fan (or Cubs fan for that matter).
