Hi there people, it's been a while... A littlte bit old news but I just want to share my MGS collection and a few customs that I did on a couple of my MGS figures. (I'm still waiting for my RAH medicom Raiden to complete my collection though)

That's the sad part, I'm a huge MGS nut but aside from playing all the games I just have a MOC set of MGS2 figures. Like I said I need to get the set of MGS ones.

I'm sure you've got copies of Substance, Subsistence, the limited edition of MGS 4, and the Saga 2.0 DVD, right? ;) If you have the limited edition of Subsistence, the first Saga DVD, and The Document of Metal Gear, you should post pics of those too. Very elusive stuff right there.

That was the DVD that came as a pre-order bonus for MGS4 and included the beta key for Metal Gear Online. It has the same cover as the MGS4 LE strategy guide that you have pictured. Basically it was a recap of the events of the Metal Gear series before 4. The first Saga DVD came with the pre-order for the Subsistence LE which was extra rare because GameStop could not fulfill all pre-orders.

MGS3 Naked Snake from SDCC 2008 and MGS2 Raiden from NYCC 2008.

To keep the figures still, I used a combination of the pegs included with the fish tanks as well as twisty ties. I wish there was a better solution for standing the Medicom figures because they are pretty darn cool.

I'd show you a picture of my MGS2 Solid Snake Stealth Camo variant from GameStation UK, but it unfortunately arrived broken from the trader.

Btw I have a question, is your MG Ray's hands are a little bit loose at the joint? cause mine is. It's quite anoying and plus I am already having trouble posing him up.

Those arms on Ray are too heavy for the joints. Whenever I touch or move Ray, his arms pop out or sometimes even his head. Unfortunately my Ray's head's bottom hinge is a bit loose, so he can't keep his mouth shut :( It's an awesome figure if it wasn't for its fragility.

They're nice, but difficult to get figures that don't have holes for the pegs (such as the Medicom figures).

And there totally should be a Metal Gear Rex figure, especially after that one battle between Ray and Rex in MGS4! What I really hope to see is a line of properly done MGS4 figures. You have the several mercenary companies, the Beauty and the Beast Corps, the FROGS, the Rat Patrol, and all of the individual characters that could make for good figures. I'd buy them up in a heartbeat!
