My awesome halo haul, no figures but the assualt rifle it's green but i am going to paint over in the morning, ( can't see well but theres tape over places that are going to be black) whats going to be silver is not taped, and i added a unsc logo on the side

Is it a coincidence that it looks like an AR? A bootleg? or official Jasman product?

A. it's by buz be gunz, i think they stole the desighn from halo

and better a puppy than a kitten

also i have thought and examied it closly to the ar, the only difference is the handle, bacause the trigger is out side the handle

Picked one up too! It was on sale cheap ($6). Wondering what kind of paint to use. Enamel paint might not completely dry on the plastic.

I am going to use the car paint ( worn steel ),black, and a little white on mine forgot the company's name though

TRU had them (not too sure if they still have them, the price or the amount they have) for $6.

Wait, you actually bought one of those? Its eaiseir to make one from pepakura then to try to make THAT accurate.

Well not 100% accurate but still a fair resemblance. It also makes these cheap electronic sounds and the flashlight works. pew pew pew pew! $6 fun.

i misted black paint over the silver and misted silver over the black to make it look battle-worn

so plz tell me how you think it is

You might want to do something else with the ammo counter. Just a bit cheesy to paint in 32.

Try painting it dark blue, and add in the details with blue-ish white, like the arrow and the ammo number, like 32xBullets
Except there's actually a picture of a bullet ;P

First.. i taped it all up, the handle trigger and the stripe things on the top

Second hung it from a clothes line in my backyard sparyed it all silver.. let dry
added more tape around were it was silver by where i wanted my black to be

third painted places i wanted black well black

fourth let it dry

fith removed tape, touched up in silver where needed and black were needed

It's cool but I would lose the silver on the black. The reason it is like that on such a small scale gun is to simulate wear. I'd make the black areas flat black and that's it. Take a look at Gun Broker.com or something and look at the rifles etc and notice the look of those. I'd think seriously about chopping that barrel off and modding it to look more realistic.

are you going to make it from scratch or look for somekind of gun from the store and work fom there

I wouldnt really know how to do it from scratch, probably foam or something but I want something sturdy. I actually have a nerf gun that someone else used and it can be shaped into something similar to the lancer. Same guy also used a kiddy toy chainsaw and it actually works. I might try both ways but I will have to see (my dad will help too) hes pretty good with making things because he is an architect.

Yeah definitely make the barrel better and keep the paint straight

Pretty slick find and custom! Gonna have to snag one now. :)
Ideas: For barrel, could use some PVC pipe. Flashlight, may look better with a real mid-sized metal mag light shoved in there. Digital counter, can always find an image of it online and print it out or maybe rig in a digital clock readout.
