Halo 2009 Wave 1 Packaging Pictures Up

I don't know if it has been posted but the in package pictures of the 2009 Wave 1 Halo figures are up. It seems that they have gone the way of the bigger Cardboard card like the sports figures. They look pretty cool thou.

I sure am glad Im not a MOC collector. The packaging is cool, but the changes every other wave have to be driving those guys nuts.

I have many questions. Where is the Steel's trip mine? Why is the Scout getting the smaller Shotty again (3rd time it's gotten a smaller weapon)? Why the change to the high cardback?

Only 3 exclusives? Thank goodness! And all of them actually attainable in the US.

Unfortunate that we aren't getting duel-wielding hands. With the Violet CQB, the Spiker doesn't like to stay in the left hand of its Spartan.

It is confirmed. I was hoping the lack of any indication on the label meant we'd have a chance. Looking at the packaging for the Orange Hayabusa, there's nothing on the label to indicate it's an exclusive, so I guess it's irrelevant that the Orange Scout doesn't have anything about being exclusive.

I am going for both security's, Red EOD, Tan Elite, and possibly the Blue Hayabusa.

Question: Anyone know if were going to get an SMG version for the ODST's? Because they cant dual wield(in game) and has the slide part closed.

I am thinking/hoping they just forgot the trip mine with the steel security. It does say it on the packaging. As far as the packaging change it don't really bother me cause they all get opened. I definitly do thing the MOC people will be a bit agitated trying to find a mint card. The packaging is nice thou and I do see the why they changed the card. It helps them advertise the Halo 3 part more. Just like all the sports figures. Also it keeps all the cardboard backs the same size across all their lines and probably helps reduce the cost.
