I got a late BDay gift today from a buddy of mine. Been wanting the Marvel Heroscape game just to do a mini Marvel dio. Anyway, he bought it for me. Here's some pics. And I know the expansion set is coming out in December. That's cool and all, but you should check the lineup.

Alright. That's all I got so far, till the expansion comes out. Then the setup will change, get bigger, and prolly look better. Specially with 3 of the F4 fighting Dr. Doom and the Punisher in there somewhere. Odds are Spiderman is gonna be outnumbered as well, since Sandman and Dr. Octopus are coming out too. :D

I know, Venom, Cap and Iron Man are my fave mini skulpts of all these. And yea, she can't keep her paws off any of my crap. I resized some of the photos to make them a little smaller too since there's so many pics. My gf took more pics of the kitty, but there's alot and I don't feel like putting them up, plus this is about the game.

It seems fun by the way the book looks. But I'll wait to play it till Punisher is out, if at all. I might just let it sit there on the shelf. Looks good, and will look even better with the expansion. :D

How big are the figures? Are they about Heroclix size? They're looking pretty damn good.

I never knew that. Makes sense I guess, but Dooms more of an F4 villan. So when the expansion comes out the F4 members will be teaming up against him.

Punisher makes anything good (see sig for confirmation) I'm not a fan of those games but I may have to cop myself a Punisher minifig from it.

What Punisher is that from? And the Expansion is all 10 of those figures. It's around $12 or so at WM when it comes out, and you get the whole set. I think they should make more, maybe with some more X-Men and another Game Board since this one seems slightly too small for the Expansion and regular figures coming out. The regular game has arouns 7 or 8 game boards and you can put em all together for a massive playing field. The figures for that look good too, but I don't have the extra cash right now. And I don't wanna buy another $30 set for more plastic squares.

They're about the same scale as the Heroclix. Heroclix might be a smidge bigger. But the difference is barely noticeable. I'd show you with the only Heroclix figure I have (Batman) but as I said his arm broke, and I'm not at home to take the pics. Maybe later.

The HeroScape terrain makes for AWESOME diorama material, and I've heard of people using the terrain for all of the Clix games. Trunks, I highly recommend picking up either (or both, or multiples of both, if you can find them cheap) of the HeroScape Master Sets (the non-Marvel ones). The stuff is a pain in the butt to build the scenery for, but well worth it!!!

I don't do the action/hero clix things. I just thought this would be real nifty for a small Marvel dio, and I like almost anything Marvel pumps out.

I wouldn't mind getting some of the main ones, they look good, but I don't have the extra money. I do want more board space for these though. So I'll think about getting some, if I get extra cash at some point in the future. But I don't wanna get too involved in it. And I might learn how to play the game eventually too lol.

Doom is a minor Iron Man villain. Think of it as King Pin and Spider-Man instead of Daredevil.


But Doom is also one of the main Villains in Marvel.

King Pin played a bigger role in the Spiderman cartoon, but I get what you're saying. I still think they shoulda waited and put him with the F4 figures and put someone else like Iron Monger in for Iron Man. I'd love to have him in there.

Oh ok. I figured as much, but I wasn't sure. I liked Tom Janes Punisher the best, so I unno how I'ma like the new guy playing him. But the Punishers character I love, so I'll like the movie anyway. I wish Tom Jane woulda signed for the sequal they wanted to make. Alas, as is the ways of Hollywood.

I didn't like Tom Jane as Punisher, he was far too skinny for him, I'd think Ray fits a better Punisher, has the Italian-American look about him (with the Guido slicked back hair to match) and the muscles, hope he puts on a Brooklyn accent though to fit in with Frank's character, atleast this one has the gore the film deserved in the first place, but I didn't mind the 2003 Punisher film, just felt Tom Jane was lacking, either way I can't wait for the new movie, hopefully a video game too, btw Trunks do you use live for Halo?

Doom and Iron Man tangle quite a bit. i wouldn't call him "minor" to Iron Man seeing as how Doom has ****ed up the Avengers enough to have to call Sentry to back them up.

I've liked Tom Jane since I saw him in Deep Blue Sea. And then Punsiher made me happy when he was in it. I just don't like how many roles he doesn't have. The Myst was good too.

I used to play Live when I had it. But I let it expire cause I was gonna get a 360 and was waiting to play it on there. Haven't gotten the 360 yet lol. When I get it and XBox live I'll let people know.

As above said, it'll work. But that's all the space they give you with this set. You'd have to buy others to make a large dio. I thought it was too much when I opened it. Then I realized it's not enough when I put it together. Especially when they expansion comes out.

My gfs dad found some of his sons pieces for the older version of this game and gave them to me. The few army men were broken, and this knight guy had a sword which was broken, so I threw those away, but the big Mech was pretty cool. And it was still in one piece. Plus he gave me some land to work with. See what you think of the new setup. :D
