I remember Gould or Hutchinson making them famous, but wasn't Blatant the first to employ them here? And if so, did the idea originate with him, or was it a borrowed tactic?
I know it's a stoopid and pointless thing to ask about, but that's par for my curiosity. I am prodded to ask by this:

Spooky shadows! Ooooooh! Pretty sure that's Thor on a chariot in the clouds or somesuch. They just stuck Super Skrull in there for scale. I've seen other toy companies use this method over the years, but I'm pretty certain nobody did it before Dion, back when he helmed the Club. <sigh> And that was once a happening forum. Hell, Todd even posted there, even after he dropped the "secret squirrel" persona.
