They look kinda funky. Wonder if this is a permanent thing.

They have worn these once or twice a year for the past couple of years. It's a throwback...

Hmmm, that would make sense, as this is the first browns game I have watched in like 3 years.

In his defense, he may not get many Browns games where he lives. I know I don't.

enjoy the Browns on prime time while you can, next season they'll be back where they belong on Sunday at 1:00 EST with Nobody #1 and Nobody #2 doing the commentary.

The Browns suck, and if you look up any pre-season threads I told everyone they would suck. Water is wet, the sky is blue, the Cleveland Browns stink.

Dude, where I live we get broncos and cowboys. This is seriously the first Browns game I have seen in 3 years +. I guess I never saw any highlights of games where they had this. If I have seen this before I obviously forgot, as the browns are forgettable.

The Browns/Steelers thing is so weird. The Steelers were the worst franchise in the history of Pro Sports prior to the loan shark Rooney's buying the franchise with gambling money. Conversely, prior to the NFL merger, the Browns were one of the greatest franchises with a fanbase that rivaled New York and Boston television markets. In fact, the Browns still have the largest radio affiliate network of any NFL team.

...and yet the Giants will still make the playoffs while the Browns will likely be sitting at home.

They can't suck that bad...they just handed it to one the best teams in the NFL, and owning Edwards in 2 FF leagues...welcome back Braylon.

The Steelers were founded by the Rooney's in 1933 long before the merger. With that being said it would tough to imagine two franchises that were more opposite up to 1970, and seem to reverse roles since.

Rooney once paid off a gambling debt by allowing the guy he owed money to be the coach.

I think everybody wrote the Browns off way too early. I stil think they'll be in the mix for the division. I also know the Ravens won't, and everybody penciled them into the playoff picture way too early.

Dude I wouldn't be so sure of that......remember the lowly Bengals took them into overtime and should have beaten them. The Giants are NOT that good of a football team right now, they need to work on ALOT of things!

As I explained previously, I haven't seen the Browns play in years, How often have they done this? You and Imesswithtexas act like it's every freakin week.

I will admit it didn't occur to me it was a throwback thing, which it probably should have, but not having seen the browns helmets doesn't make me a bad football fan. There are millions of people that pay no attention to the entire city of cleveland, so I really don't feel too bad about it.:p

The Vikings beat up the Giants bad last year, and that meant what in the grand scheme of things?
