Depends on how things are there, where you work, and how long you've been there. After 6 years, I topped off at $7.50 selling electronics, while another person had been there a few years less and worked with the baby stuff and was almost at $9. It's really a crapshoot depending on time of the year, their needs, and your availability.

we got tickets, the best seats are only $20 so it's not bad at all. I need to go to Ikea anyway to get some stuff for my SP shelves, and this place is like right next door. Should be fun and a good opportunity to take some neat photos.

We're out of town on game-night. It is usually a great opportunity for autographs as well. In past years they have had an autograph session prior to the on-field festivities--I haven't heard if they are doing the same this year.

wow, what a disappointment. The place was a mob scene, they only set aside 30 minutes for signing autographs and most of the celebs didn't take part in the signings anyway. They signed a few over the course of the game for kids but adults were pretty much left out. I struck out on autographs completely. The game itself was mildly amusing but for autographs, it sucked. Our real goal was to get Modano to sign the base of my North Star SP and for Roy Williams to sign a picture for my wife - never even got close to either one of those. :(

Saturday might be tough for autographs--Teixeira bobblehead night (large crowd) & a player/kid baseball game at 5:00 (no traditional on field BP).
TEXAS RANGERS FAMILY DAY: Family Day will take place on Saturday, July 29. Texas Rangers players and staff will play a Father/Son/Daughter softball game with introductions beginning at 5:00 p.m.

I was planning on going for the Tex bobblehead, but I've got a wedding to attend. It was a tough choice--Tex bobblehead or family wedding.

If someone get's an extra Tex bobblehead, let Andy Matz know; I was going to be his helper.

Yep. Cobbs looked pretty good as did all of the Patriots' RBs. DJ Shockley looked pretty good for the Falcons too....almost like a Vick-type QB that can actually pass too!!! :)

I saw APC at the Grenada a couple years back for a rehersal show before the tour. They sounded great. A few months later I saw them at Nokia and they sucked. Maybe it's the sound. All I know is Maynard's voice was much better the first time than the second.

TOOL is just getting back into the swing of things. I am sure they will be better at the AAC.

Follow the bouncing ball -- NBA's Dallas Mavericks to hold pre-season training camp at UNT Oct. 3-6

DENTON (UNT), Texas Fresh off their win as NBA Western Conference Champions and their first-ever appearance in the NBA Finals, the Dallas Mavericks will hold their training camp for the 2006-2007 season Oct. 3-6 (Tuesday-Friday) at the University of North Texas.

Morning practice sessions will be held at the Norval F. Pohl Student Recreation Center, located on North Texas Boulevard between Chestnut Street and Avenue D. Evening practice sessions will be held at the UNT Coliseum, at the southeast of North Texas Boulevard and Highland Street.

Practice sessions are not open to the public. To thank the university community for their hospitality, the Mavericks are holding a scrimmage at the UNT Coliseum at 5:00 pm on Oct. 6 (Friday). The scrimmage will be open to UNT students, faculty, and staff with a valid university ID. The scrimmage was moved up an hour so as not to conflict with the pre-Homecoming bonfire, scheduled for later that evening.

UNT head men's basketball coach Johnny Jones says, "We're excited about the opportunity to host the Mavericks on our UNT campus. It will be a great experience for our students to see the 2006 NBA Western Conference champions as they prepare for their upcoming season. We hope the energy and enthusiasm will carry over into the Mean Green basketball season."

UNT President Gretchen Bataille adds, "We are thrilled to play a major role in bringing Dallas Mavericks basketball to the UNT community and to Denton. we saw him down at Fair Park last year - I liked it and my wife loved it. He talks so damn fast that sometimes he's hard to understand for me. I'm not a big fan of songs in foreign languages, but I love his english stuff. What an awesome voice!

If it does ice and/or snow, my roommate and I are walking the mile or so to campus to hang out with everyone. We only get one of these a year, so you can't let it go to waste.

If anyone is still looking for Steelers 3-packs, I saw at least two of them at TRU on Airport Freeway in Irving as of 12:30 this afternoon. Look behind some Cowboys 3 packs on the bottom shelf and hopefully they'll still be there. Several figures from Series 14 as well.
