Anyone had any luck finding NFL 14 besides at Grapevine mall? Trying to find Brees or Bush for nephews back in Louisiana. Nothing here in the Plano\Frisco area so far.

Check the KBToys in Grapevine Mills Mall. They had a bunch of 14 this weekend, and I know I saw some Reggie Bush figures. Not sure on Brees.

Hope all has servied the long w-end. Been a tough haul for me, Friday, date night, Stars game with the Mrs. Got soaked getting there but injoyed a pretty good game. Sunday was Boys vs the Lions. And today took the little family to the cotton Bowl. So I'm pretty broke but had a lot of fun getting there. Cotton Bowl brings back some cool memories.

Is anyone getting all star tickets ? We have ours ordered buy not sure when they will get here. Suppposed to have our regular seats for the all timers game but stuck to the ceiling for skills and actuall game. I really dont care where i sit

He just called from Area tryouts in Odessa--his area stretches from DFW to El Paso. He missed being All-State last year as a freshman by one spot. The Texas 4-A All-State Band division includes 1A-4A schools--only seven alto sax players qualify as All-State from all those schools.

His next goal is to play the National Anthem at Ameriquest Field for the Rangers.

Last night I made reservations for 7:00pm for 25. I was counting the maybes as yeses and padded it a bit in case some of the booth staff wants to join. Please aim to be there by 6:45. One, if you're 5 or 10 minutes late, or parking sucks, you aren't actually late. Two, they don't seat large incomplete parties. And the most important third, we need to pick out the menu. For large groups, they do this thing where you pick 2 or 3 appetizers, 2 or so main courses, a few sides, and a couple of deserts. I told them we'd come up with that when we get there, and I didn't want to dictatorily decide what we're eating!

So, yeah, I think that's about it. I'll be there Saturday at 10a, probably with my mom in tow, sporting my awesome North Texas hoodie.

I believe Academy Sporting Goods sells them, but I'm not sure the price. Area Targets usually have kids Stars stuff--it's not actual game style jerseys but they are far less expensive than regular youth jerseys.

I picked up my kids youth jerseys off ebay--both Hull jerseys, used but in good shape and inexpensive.

Just got back home from the mall. Everything went great minus the fact I freaked out when we first arrived. I saw a bunch of people walking out and still in the mall with cases...not case but cases. New girlfriend bought them for me back in October and gave them to me in November for my early birthday present. When she handed me the email confirmation of purchase, she said, "Your Bears and the blue horse team are both undefeated. Wouldn't that be great if they made it to the Super Bowl?"

I tried to explain to her that being undefeated in early November did not guarantee anything. The next day, the Dolphins beat the Bears and she thought she jinxed the team.

Best part: (besides my aunt paying for a hotel room on South Beach for my cousin and I and a limo on gameday) My gf does not like football and had no interest in going with me.

My problem is that I will not be arriving in Miami until 12:45pm Saturday. Mark emailed me and said that they will save some figures to sell on Saturday, but judging by how fast the Sanders went in Detroit, it doesn't look like there will be any left when I fly in. I feel weird taking money from you guys in the "hope" that I get a figure. If you want to take the chance, PM me, and I will try my best to get as many as I can. This list is in order of date/time of request (except Sibelius who is already getting one somewhere else, but wants a second). If I get to buy some Taylors, I will take care of those willing to pay in advance, first. Maybe some Florida guys who buy the Taylors on Thursday and/or Friday would trade a Modano NHL Exclusive for a Taylor.

thanks for the best wishes, everyone. I'm holding my pc at a weird angle so I can type - my wrist is all tied up with tape and an IV needle which makes it tough to type normally. Up to now I've been doing everything with one finger. LOL

I had the shock treatment on my heart today and for right now it is in normal rhythm, for the first time in at least 8 months. Crossing my fingers in hopes that it stays that way.

I'll be checking the board while I'm here andposting occasionally. I hope to get outta here on Sunday.

I'd do fantasy baseball. Time and day would depend on the general time frame we are planning the draft--I would recommend around the 3rd week of March. That will give time for Spring Trainning to sort out--injuries, comebacks, rookies, etc...

An evening time would probably work best for me. If we use yahoo, there is always the default auto-draft option where an owner can set their player preferences in case they have something come up at the scedhuled draft time.
