I know this isn't about sports or anything but mom wants to keep this within our immediate family and I need to talk about it with someone and you guys are always here giving me advice on Fantasy Football. She had surgery today and we found out it spread to her lymph Nodes. I don't know what to think right now I cannot believe this just happened to her and my family. It's one of those things you think will never happen to you but it does and that is part of life I just pray that she can get through it.

It is sad but you really do not appreciate something until it is in danger or gone, and it also puts life in persecutive, I usually spend my time worrying about things like am I going to win in Fantasy this week or is my home team gonna pull off the win, that stuff just does not seem important at all right now. Just appreciate life for everything guys especially your family

I don't know if this will help but I keep posting it any time cancer is mentioned, a possible cure?

It's worth looking into, imo, all the best to you and your family, but don't go another day without watching this, it could help, it could be BS, but it's still worth a shot

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom. I know exactly how you feel as my mom was diagnosed with aggressive Hodgkins lymphoma a few years back. She then went through chemothrapy and later stem cell transplants. If she didn't do what she did, she would've passed on. She is now completely in remission. She has to go back to check sometimes but that's like twice a year. Just be strong for you, your family and especially your mom.

best wishes man... MY MOM GAVE ME THE SAME news a month ago. Its a scary thing but it is very curable and is one of the cancer treatments we know the most about. hang in there. My Mother had one breast removed and may have to lose the other. It hadnt spread to the lymph nodes but was very close to getting there.

A PET SCAN revealed her body was cancer free so we are happy with that news and you have to stay optimistic and surround yourself with positive people. Don't let your MOM hang around anyone that could bring her down. Positive thoughts are huge when dealing with cancer.

Good luck to you and your loved ones, I hope she's gonna be ok!

Being a medical student and a future doctor let me say that the most therapeutic thing in your mother's situation is love, support and hope.

Found out my mom had breast cancer in 2003 (my Godmother died of it in 1998). Thankfully she found it early enough that with chemo they were able to take care of it before it spread. She's been clear since 2004 but still has regular check-ups and so far so good. Hope the same goes for your mom.

I know what your going thru. My mother in law is going thru stage 4 breast cancer (90% terminal once is reaches this stage). As much as she is battling, shes losing the fight slowly and painfully. Its hard to see her going thru it. So as a family we are taking her out west to Vegas as a final trip/wish next week.

So my prayers and well wishes go to your mom. I wouldnt wish this cr-ap on anyone ...ever.
