Release both keys
Open an image program, such as MS Paint
Use the Paste function. ( Ctrl + V )

I've never had to... always just Print Screen, then into Photoshop it goes.

Guess it's different for different rigs.

I'm running Vista...

I just tried it without alt, and when I hit print screen, it started loading a print project in the printer...

Maybe it's a setting somewhere deep in the preferences or something?
