I recently bought the 2nd gen manga spawn and noticed that series35 mecha spawns seem to be similar.
anyone see one in the flesh because i was MASSIVELY DISAPPOINTED in the 2nd gen manga spawn which has crap articulation, poor casting quality and a TERRIBLE paint job...

Recently and unfortunately, yes. There has been countless threads about these issues. I still love some of them but there are a few issues about recent TMP figs that make me bite my tongue.
Series 35 isn't coming out.

Not quite.
"Series 35" IS of course coming out, it just wont be the originally shown Robot Wars figures (which were indeed cancelled).
Semantics, I know. :p
