What is so good about the Spartan Recon Armor?

Well, it's wrinkle-free for one. Two, it literally repells lint! I mean NOTHING sticks to it! Three, it's got a very high thread count. Good quality. Four, feels like silk when you wear it. Seriously, if you could drop ecstasy and wear Recon Armor, you'd have a full body happy ending. Five, should you ever have that happen, the suit leeches all unwanted sweat, fluids whatever away and literally transforms them into a nice, fresh pine scent that fills the helmet at all times. Six, the chicks dig Recon Armor. Oh yeah. Seven, did you know there's a hot plate in the thigh panel? That can come in handy, let me tell you. Eight, you can store up to 8000 movies in the on-board digital memory for playback whenever you find yourself with absolutely nothing to do. Nine, just wearing it works every major muscle group you've got. You'll have buns and everything else of steel if you wear this armor long enough! And ten: It removes unwanted body hair and reduces freckles!

Recon Armor is the absolute best armor.

I heard it's just cause it's uber hard to get and virtually no one has it. So it's like "oooh, ahhh, you gots Recon, youz rule like potatos". Bragging rights. I prefer Hayabusa and CQB personally, they look better. But it doesn't look too bad.

Its cool, but i wouldnt even use it, im an Elitist so i really wouldnt care, though it would be braging rights i guess to the right people, i dont want people knowing i have it, becuase they might want to try and steal my account... Anyways, most people want it just because its rare and cool (AKA annoying little kids with Tempertantrums) its just armor really. im hoping for new armor when Recon ships, because remember, Bungie Stated they wouldnt make any downloadable content armor perms, they never said about it being included in another game eh? (More Elite please!)

It's not actually a flaming helmet. Bungie's "flaming head" is from a flaming EOD chest piece that they use and it can be applied with any helmet.

Most likely, he killed a bunch of them, hence why he was good enough to recieve it ;).

If you didn't get that, means he's probebly good at Halo and has a high Gamer Score for it.

I've know of quite a few people who have recon and so far no one I've talked to has gotten for "skill". It's usually something completely off the wall.

It is fun, though be warned as you get better, so do the people yo fight, then agian, you could always do what little kids and older dumbasses do, and thats create an Xbox live account, with tons of letters and numbers, get your free month, play, get rid of it, get free month again, get rid of it, etc. Thats why there are so many idiotic names and crap on XBL, people are too lazy to buy it.
