More new Halo customs.......................YEAH!....................wait, put down the pitchforks.......................:p
So here is my latest camo related Spartan and an affordable alternative for the orange Hayabusa lovers. The Urban SWAT EOD was fun to do since I had a bunch of little SWAT fodder laying around from a dollor store pick up and the orange Hayabusa was done mainly to cash in on the craze of the orange Hayabusa that is going for insane amounts on Ebay. There I said it.:p

yea you customizers have a knack at making a mass market figure look better than how the company produced it.

Pffft...I thought it was going to be a Gator custom.
I'd like to see a Hayabusa in some kind of color scheme that goes for darker, richer colors, including some metallics, that really play to the oriental flavor of the fig.

Nice job. Your Orange Hayabusa does look better then the original. One of the reasons is the nice blackwash you put on him. Some armos don't need it and they look fine, as do some colors. The Hayabusas DO need it, as well as anything red or orange, or it looks like crap. I'm blackwashing mine as soon as I get it in the mail. I might try a before and after pic like I had with the red one. We'll see.

If they don't make a Steel Hayabusa in wave 3 of next year, I'm probebly going to buy some extra parts to attempt a custom paint job of one. The Hayabusa armor NEEDS to be in Steel at some point. So far they have a nice dark blue version coming in January, but the rest are all light colors.

Nice, but I really hope that wasn't a real orange 'busa that you re-painted. I like te figures, but I personlly think that modifying figures diminishes the "collectable" value. But still, those look really nice.

Err, unfortunintly the rest of the world doesn't share your views. Jinn tears em apart, literally, and puts em back together with new pieces, and most of his stuff goes for over $100 on ebay. Modified figures, if done right, can be worth alot more then the originals. I think maddogs figures go for alot on ebay as well. 1 of a kind customs are a big thing for some collecters nowadays.
And if it was a real orange Hayabusa, it's not a big deal. They're not gonna be as rare as they are now in a couple weeks. The scalper prices have already gone down. In a few more months, they'll be as common as a WM blue. ;)

Well, I did this one to go with the Mandarin Spawn coloring:
