the reasons I stopped collecting these is because of the same figure different color situation. and the exclusives that come with that. quality never bothered me much cuz i wouldn't really touch them all that much. so that's what i voted for. and thats why I don't like this line.. although I do pick up the campaign figures if i come across them. So i guess I'm 50/50 on this one

Well here are my pennies, you can take them or leave them.

I like Halo, always have, its one of the best shooters out there as a game, and its great science fiction. Onto the toyline, its great in my opinion, far better than Joyride, and I like the scale, at first I hated the small scale but now I like it, cause it doesn't take up too much room. I also really enjoy hunting for Halo figures because its actually a challenge, Transformers has become a collecting joke, and I love TF's, DCUC is a pain in the ass because its never in any store. Then there is Cars which I am most likely done with because Mattel can't learn to make a completely new wave. Is is slightly annoying that they keep doing repaints, yes, but that can be blammed on Joyride because they did it first. Which thank you TMP they are backing off of too many per wave. As for why you think the designs of the Covenant are stupid is beyond me, they do have many nods to famous aliens from other scifi series, and lets see what you can come up with. As for this thread, I don't see why it was necessary, it seems you are bitter that there are no more spawn or other lines; which is confusing because thats business, if it doesn't sell it doesn't stay around, spawn stopped selling well, and so did the other lines, which is due to multiple reasons It seems that right now with the wonderful economy that TMP would be having more problems than no spawn and in house lines, seems halo has kept them afloat.

As an addendum it looks like Lack of Spawn is the winning factor so far, but I think I should have not made it so you can pick multiple reasons, it's pretty tied up. Also seeing QC, scale, and spartan variants leading, which I expected and I can understand.

Here's hoping McFarlane does something for you Spawn fans so that you don't have to miss out on this line and can still get your fix.

Hell, that's two bucks more than what Target was charging for the Foom figures. Then not every Walmart had them in stock (most don't even carry them), so you'd have to drive all over town looking for a figure (some people were even paying the scalper prices on ebay for this reason). I like to collect for the fun and the love of the hobby. When collecting a line or collecting in general loses its fun, I move elsewhere and don't waste my time and money. For me, it was a combination of multiple reason why I lost interest. Lack of availability, way too many exclusives, all exclusives were the same exact figure painted in a different colors (which lead to....), lack of interest. Halo has reached the same amount of exclusives that the whole Spawn line has had, in only 3 series (and the Spawn exclusives were always accessible):D For those of you who are into Halo, that's cool. Everybody's got their taste in what they choose to spend their money on. I simply lost interest in this series a while ago.

If Spawn really is the backbone of McF, like it says in the Spawn toys page, then I'd have to say McF Toys is not far from being crippled.
