Ghost of AA62

its a little premature, but I doubt tomorrow's game makes any significant contribution to the list.
1. Tennessee Titans AFC South (9-0 :eek::D:D:D).
- no team wins uglier than the Titans - but no team has won more games; Titans stay alive in 21-14 win over the Bears, despite rushing for only 15 net yards.
2. New York Giants NFC East (8-1)
- pulled a huge 36-31 win over the Eagles tonight, with offense, defense and special teams showing up.
3. Carolina Panthers NFC South (7-2)
- Delhomme was lucky the Cats were playing the Raiders today - any other team (except the Lions), would have capitalized on his 3 ints; Carolina beats Oakland 17-6.
4. Baltimore Ravens AFC North (6-3)
- since their loss to Indy, the Ravens have been on a bit of a winning streak and now poised to take on the Steelers for the AFC North; dumped the Texans 41-13.
5. Pittsburgh Steelers AFC North (6-3)
- they needed to win today, but the Steelers couldn't hold down Manning and crew in 20-24 loss - with their ever-growing list of injuries and remaining schedule (San Diego, @ New England, Dallas, @ Baltimore, @ Tennessee), things could go south very quickly.
6. New England Patriots AFC East (6-3)
- beat the Bills (at home) 20-10; even with their injuries (Brady, Mulroney, Harrison etc), the Pats are finding ways to win - a testament to their film sta...I mean coaching staff.
7. Washington Redskins NFC East (6-3)
- bye week; showdown with Dallas next week.
8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFC South (6-3)
- bye week.
9. Atlanta Falcons NFC South (6-3)
- the Birds put on an impressive performance today in 34-20 beating of New Orleans; Matt Ryan is making a case for OROY.
10. New York Jets AFC East (6-3)
- Favre and company laid a smackdown on the Rams today 47-3; have quietly made their way to the top of the AFC East; showdown in Foxborough with arch-rival Pats, determines who takes the division.
11. Arizona Cardinals NFC West (5-3)
- play the 49ers tomorrow; I'm not kidding when I say they could win two more games and clinch the AFC West (a division that should be dissolved).
12. Indianapolis Colts AFC South (5-4)
- the NFL's lithium case just churned out one of its best wins of the season in 24-20 victory over the Steelers...in Pittsburgh;of the Colts 7 remaining games, only 1 is against a team with a winning record, so things are looking up.
