When did we get another Halo left hand style??

I opened up my Walmart Cyan Eva to find... a brand new hand style? The only two I was aware of were the 1st series 'hold your rifle' open hand and the weird slightly-gripping hand that the Spartan Rogue came with. Now here I find that the Cyan Eva HAS THE PERFECT DUAL-WIELD HAND. It has a little embossed 'L6' on the inner palm while his other says 'R6'. Are these hands specific to just this figure? I don't have my Sniper Rifle Master Chief anymore so I can't compare the inside of his palm, as he seems to have the same right hand.

To the point tho, I heard that the equipment series Halo figures coming out next do NOT have these new hands, even tho theyre dual-wielding weapons. Even the stock photos of MC holding his SMG's shows a regular open-pal, left hand with a badly modded/split trigger finger, bleh. Please tell me I heard wrong. Please tell me since you already have this new left hand design you'll be giving all dual-wield figures this hand style so they can properly hold their weapons... otherwise there's just no excuse not to.

I haven't noticed that on any of my series 3 figures, but the cyan EVA is the one figure I don't have.

So nobody else has a figure with this kind of hand? It's exclusive to the, eh, exclusive? Oh I did find my spare MC trigger hand (had it in the fodder box) and it's a different sculpt without the R6 tag inside. Looks almost exact tho unless you inspect them side by side.

So huh, whole new hands for the Cyan Eva.

Bump for general intrest. At the rate we're finding these it may be worth to score 4 or 5 and replace/repaint the new hand on your other armor types so you can have one of each with a proper left hand.

I unpacked all of my series 3 the other day and notice at least 2 or 4 of mine had these hands now. When I get home from work I'll check for ya Jin. I was using them with the Spartan Laser and they fit WAY better now...
